​​Fiscal Year 2016 Accomplishments

• May 2015 – awarded the inaugural #AftonStrong Leadership Award at Bowmar Ave Elementary School – the first award winner was Taylor Chewning

• September 2015 – sponsored the inaugural Splash4Gold Coast-to-Coast Postal Swimming Meet – over 150 participants from 8 states

• December 2015 – Partnered with the Vicksburg Cotillion Club to deliver over $4,000 in toys to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital Cancer Center

• Made and delivered over 1,500 cancer buttons to Monroe E. Carrol Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University and the Blair E Batson Children’s Hospital at The University of Mississippi

• May 2016 – awarded the 2nd annual #AftonStrong leadership award at Bowmar Ave. Elementary School – the award was given to Marin Sherwin.

• May 2016 – partnered with the 1st grade students at Bovina Elementary School to award two $1000 dollar #AftonStrong leadership scholarships to students at Warren Central High School. The inaugural winners were Kaylynne Wallace and LaShunte Hubbard. Winners were chosen by the Warren Central High School Academic Counselors

• May 2016 – Awarded two #AftonStrong Swimming Scholarships to seniors from the Vicksburg Swimming Association. The 2015 winners were Kaylynne Wallace and Chip Fields. The winners were selected by VSA coach Mathew Mixon
